Middelgrunden - An Offshore Story

 
The construction of the 40 MW Middelgrunden Wind Farm 3 km offshore the Port of Copenhagen, followed through one year by the photographer Mads Eskesen.

In words and pictures the fantastic project, which contributes to the manifestation of Copenhagen as environmental Capital of Europe, is described.

Technical explanations of the building process are written by Hans Chr. Sørensen, advisor for the project and co-founder of the co-operative.

Preface by Bo Asmus Kjeldgaard, Mayor of Water, Energy and Environment, City of Copenhagen and Erik Christiansen, Chairman of Middelgrunden Wind Turbine Co-operative.
